It was slightly Republican pre-Bush 43 now we're almost unanimously Democrats now

You're Muslim? Or is that a typo?

You didn't know? Ooops.

Yeah, I was unaware. Not that it's a big deal or anything, I just find it interesting to see a Muslim that identifies as both a Republican and a libertarian. Tongue

Muslims voted two-to-one for H.W. Bush in 1988 (Dukakis openly telling them he didn't care about their votes was clearly not well-received), but they voted for Clinton in 1992 and 1996. An early 2001 survey by MAPS (Muslims in the American Public Sphere) showed 46 percent of Muslims were Democrats while only 16 percent were Republicans. Irregardless, most voted Bush in 2000 because of social issues and a feeling that Clinton had been too pro-Israel at Camp David.

I can not find any pre-1988 data.

Never, ever use that 'word' again.

Thank you.

Huh

I think the word you were looking for was "regardless". "Irregardless" is a stupid term that should actually mean the opposite of regardless.
