Would that be the same Bob Kerrey who got thumped last year? Wink As for Osborn, yeah, he's a great candidate.

FTR, here's the full article. As for windjammer's question, Osborn hasn't gotten any national conservative press.

He hasn't cleared the field. Indeed this race hasn't gotten any attention from conservative media  except for a Sasse TWS profile a few months ago. They should since Osborn has the bio and record.

Real action will be in the Pub primary. We'll see if Sasse gets any traction, but it'll be hard to know since Safe Senate races rarely get polled in the off-year.

FreedomWorks sorta imploded recently, didn't they? At any rate we've seen that outside groups aren't decisive in NE during last year's primary. If Osborn is below 40 in his own internal, then he'll have a very rocky road to the nomination. He better hope that Sasse doesn't get the Rubio/Cruz/Cotton superstar treatment, cause those guys tend to win Pub primaries. For now the only hint I've seen of that was a lengthy Sasse profile in the Weekly Standard a few months ago.

McConnell is furious with Sasse, who's become collateral damage in the war between McConnell and SCF. Sasse also delivered a Crossroads pitch that included "I'm the smartest candidate." No joke.

NRO gives Sasse the cover treatment, which in the past 2 cycles went to Rubio and Cruz.

Osborn and Sasse have to be careful that they don't beat the crap out of each other and let the self-funder Dinsdale run up the middle.

Sasse endorsed by Gun Owners of America. Will NRA follow GOA's lead?

Mike Lee has endorsed Sasse. I'm getting more deja vu with every out of state endorsement.

Much ado about nothing. I'm still worried about a 2012 repeat.

Interesting, though since Osborn is already been dealing with this doubt it becomes a BFD.

Good Drucker piece on this race. Lesson: keep the outsiders off air. NE Pubs don't like being used as proxies.

Veterans group endorses Osborn.

Freedomworks is still imploding, but FWIW they've switched their endorsement to Sasse.

Osborn gets local conservative endorsements. Nebraskans on RRH say this is still a close race, FWIW.
