She'd probably start out as the underdog, judging from this report. Believe only if seen, obviously.

Simply because she wants the seat. She'd lose because as you said, Enzi hasn't broken with the GOP right on anything major and at any rate the TP almost certainly wouldn't exert themselves for a Cheney.

I don't have a candidate preference here, would be happy with either.

NRSC is obviously backing Enzi as the incumbent, Erickson's backing Cheney.

Lummis and Barrasso have also endorsed Enzi, with Lummis taking some sharp jabs at Cheney.

Dick Cheney: Enzi and I were never friends, he gets most of his money from DC and Wyoming, not DC, will choose their next Senator. Cause the carpetbagger is totally the homegrown candidate.

Enzi is ahead internally. No matter what happens there'll be a lot of bad blood within the WYGOP.

Mary and her spouse are furious at Liz for publicly restating her opposition to SSM despite having been privately supportive of their relationship, and Poe blasted Liz in an FB post today.

Cheney's trying to repair her relationships with the local press.

John King reporting that Cheney will drop out, perhaps as early as tomorrow. Too bad, I'd have liked to see what WY Pubs really think of carpetbaggers. Tongue

Indeed, her campaign was a trainwreck. Mary has dibs on the last laugh, closely followed by Simpson.

Yet a local paper says this... interesting juxtaposition.
