Might as well crosspost: Grits raised $5.2M in Q4. No word on everyone else yet.

Wherry on various outcomes, though I firmly believe in Wells' First Rule.

Tim Harper: NDP should offer a choice, not an echo.

Ivison thinks a spring election.

Cohen: Trudeau must address FP. Ironic thing is that Trudeau has represented himself as more worldly than Harper.

Grits are wooing Bill Blair.

Rock-em-sock-em battle in Mount Royal.

Gordon Campbell as Tory candidate in Vancouver-Granville? His High Commission term ends before the election, and no denials yet.

Deltell is set to run for the Tories in Louis-Saint-Laurent, perhaps bringing some caquistes with him for other ridings. Been an open secret for eons.

Funke on how a little-known FEA clause could balloon the spending limit if Harper calls a mega-campaign.

Hebert: Mulcair's fate is looking grim.

Bill Casey's nomination is no sure thing.

In English Canada, the former. Here in Quebec Mulcair has always been quite strong and personally more popular than Trudeau, especially among Francophones. NDP still has a decent lead with Francophone voters.

After their wipeout in Ontario last year I'm more skeptical of Ipsos than previously, but this is in line with Abacus. I only trust QC # if they're from CROP/Leger.

^ He is.

Q for Max: do you think Boulerice might be interested in leadership at some point?

Marc Desmarais is running for the Grits. Insert endless jokes here, especially since this guy is a lobbyist.

Add another Grit nomination kerfuffle to the list. For some reason this crop can't stop blabbing about internal procedure. HQ says he paid for thousands of straw memberships, he says he was pushed aside. HQ SOP or oldest cheat in the nomination book depending on who you believe. Go back to formal appointments, Grits.

Crossposted in the discussion thread. Maybe something to do with Krudd's WHO offer? At any rate I guess Alexander replaces him at Foreign Affairs, Poilievre as minister responsible for NCR.

MacLeod to decide within 2 weeks. Interestingly, her competition is a former Poilievre staffer. Unless he drops down. Hash, Hatman?
