I remember reading that she might stay on until mid-2013 to pave the way for a successor, dunno if that's what she's doing. Cause if she's serious about being Dem leader in 2014, Cheesy

She slapped down Russert's question about her stepping aside for age and electoral reasons. Did have a valid point about McConnell being a 3-time majority loser too.

Oh, Pelosi's been very effective. Most people just don't like the effects.

As for caucus strength... most of the Dem caucus is liberal and combined with her CA power base, no one has a remote chance of unseating her.
