If he runs and wins, I'm putting him as a clear favourite once Kerry's seat is vacated.

Kerry's already said he's running in 2014, so he'll have to wait till 2020 or challenge Brown in 2018.

It's his son. But the would-be restorationists, as I've always said, lost their last chance 13 years ago.

Depends who Patrick appoints, though I doubt Kennedy would jump for that after not even a full House term. Or he may seek the governor's office in '18, though apart from KKT no Kennedy has ever sought a non-presidential executive post.
