The Keystone XL bill was amended on the floor to say "it is the sense of the Senate that climate change is real and not a hoax."

Sheldon Whitehouse and James Inhofe (!) co-sponsored the amendment and it passed 98-1, Roger Wicker being the only one to vote against.

It was the third of three amendments proposed, holding up passage of the bill. The first by Brian Schatz said humans contributed significantly to climate change (failed 49-50). The second by Barbara Boxer and John Hoeven (!) said humans contributed to climate change (failed cloture 59-40).

So there you go.
