Pretty clear Bushie is a manic depressive.

I think Bushie and his culture's abstinence from moderate pleasures like alcohol and sex are why most of them overindulge in non-taboo pleasures like eating.

Our Dear Friend needs to get an opiate prescription. It would suit his lifestyle quite nicely and it would also allow him lose some weight.

And with the help of On The Border, he might still be able to take regular dumps despite the drug use.

don't ask bushie to gauge the reaction of another human being to his antics. this is a guy who has no idea his boss hates him until the second he gets fired.

I will be awake for 23 straight hours, but I've done that many times before.

RIP Bushie.

2015 has been born in Kiritimati and Samoa!!!  Up next, Chatham Islands (0415 in Oklahoma) and New Zealand (0500 in Oklahoma)

Damn, I feel so bad that I slept in past this historic occasion.

Hey Gramps, Bushie completed a full 40 minute work week. What more do you want?

Nobody seems to be in the New Years spirit this year outside of ODF. Probably because it's a Wednesday.

If they had to pay him for his time off, he'd have been fired a month ago.

It sounds like an extreme example for an entire office but long commutes like that aren't uncommon for the west.

OKC does sound horrifically big, though. ABQ is kind of bad but OKC's square mileage for its population just sounds like a terrible waste of space.

So is Bushie getting a hotel in anticipation of the ice storm?

Nope, since they called off work for tomorrow.

Congrats, Bushie.

That's not a good sign. It usually means something is on verge of RIP.

Too bad Bushie can't put that IT knowledge of his to good use, go into Facebook Security Settings, and put Atlas members in a special visibility group that can't see certain statuses without having to unfriend them.

As far as the axing, I have been thinking about it for a long time.  You guys are not encouragers, you are negative.  Life is too precious to have negativity hanging around your life.

This is the same reasoning you always use on ragequits. It means the same thing.

RIP Job.

i bet that earlier this week bushie was whining to his boss about the prospects of wintry weather today.  his boss just told him to stay home...one less person to pay.

by the way, temps were near 40 in the okc today.  doubtful that the roads were like skating rinks.

I can hear the awesome clueless convo now.

Boss: "You know what, Jeff, if you hate being here so much why don't you just not come in at all!"
Jeff: "Wow! Thanks Boss! You are the best!"

Wow, are you ready for twenty 40 hour work weeks in a row? Do you actually expect to survive that?

I can do as many as required.

Results may vary.

So, you're blaming the Atlas Forum's negative energy for not getting your fat butt to work? Good luck with that.

Remember when Bushie said he went to Cracker Barrel to have a "home-cooked meal"?

Good times
