But half volume from 1400-1630 and vibrate/ring at full volume from 1800-2000 unless it is raining outside.

I'm pretty sure Call Center Trainee is Bushie's long term career.

You're not worth $15/hour. Any employer who says they are going to give you that much is a s-c-a-m.

I never said I'm worth $15 an hour.  I just said $15 is better than $10.  What my job history is worth does not factor into the equation.

Yes, but the reason it's $15 is because it's a customer service job that won't pay you that much because it's a scam or it's legitimate and demanding and you won't be able to hold it down.

Think of all the weeks you've been unemployed in chase of that pie in the sky $15. Imagine if you worked $8.50/hr for 40 hours a week during that entire time. You'd have literally tens of thousands of dollars more on top of what your parents have subsidized over these years.

In baseball terms, rather than hit .300 as a singles hitter, you're swinging for the fences and striking out to a .005 batting average.

I forget how cheap rent is where he lives.

I've survived on $10/hr holding down $900 monthly rent. He should be able to do this at min wage in OK cost of living.

Bushie, why don't you utilize your personal relationship with Mr. Lankford to develop a business relationship with Mr. Lankford and/or friends of Mr. Lankford?

What if Bushie took an $8/hour job and then asked his parents to supplement him an additional $80/week? They would gladly do it and it would be seen as a responsible, conscientious gesture on his part. He can then look for CAD jobs as he works. Hell, his parents might be willing to do this permanently.

Think about it, Bushie. Think about it.

At 8.35 an hour, about 20% going to tax witholds, that's 1068 a month. You can't live comfortably as a bachelor with $500 plus parental backup support?

You're a total queen, Bushie.

Considering he eats three meals without fail and likely also snacks/dessert, and drinks soda instead of water, it wouldn't surprise me if Bushie's food bill was $750-1000 monthly.

Memphis and King, you know darn well I don't pig out like I used to.  There is no need to say I do.  Many times Mom has to tell me to eat, because many times I will go down for supper at 1700 only having had an extremely light lunch.  Other times I don't eat anything until 1400 or so.

Except your definition of light eating is not light or inexpensive. You eat two dinners regularly.

People don't get to be your weight by not putting down a serious amount of food and since you don't cook that costs $$$.

No, she encourages me not to go 18-24 hours without eating.  She wants to keep my energy level up and she knows it's not healthy to lose weight by starving yourself.

It's also not healthy to lose weight by going on a "light diet" of poptarts and ramen with no vegetables and fruits.

To be fair to the Bushie clan, I-40 east of ABQ is a barren wasteland devoid of culture.

If they eat at McDonalds in ABQ...

Go to Twisters instead http://www.twistersinc.com/index.htm

Eastern NM really is hell on Earth, Grumps. If it were me, I'd have packed an ice chest with some food for the drive.

I'm guessing the Chili's you refer to is the one on Louisiana and Menaul since there's a lot of hotels around there.

Do not go there. Instead, go to Garduno's at Winrock Mall (on Louisiana and I-40), as seen on the hit television show Breaking Bad. It'll be visible on your right heading toward your hotel from the highway.
