Is any one going to post a good reason why they oppose this or just keep empty quoting a vague statement?
Why is Styrofoam bad? Why should the government go out of the way to ban a material that is so readily available and prevalent? It’s just stupid. There is literally no reason for it. NYC is a sh**thole regardless of the affects of “Styrofoam pollution.”

Carcinogens?  Chemical pollution?  Non-biodegradable?

It's not something you should package food with.  Besides, the majority of styrofoam is used in shipping.  Paper cups are far more prevalent.  

Are you Paultards going to complain about the lack of asbestos gloves now?
