All Quiet on the Pacific Front
Despite being up for election in just eight days, so far no one has declared in the race for Pacific Governor.  Governor Wildcard has been quiet and not announced his intentions, but has been seen so there are no concerns over his health.

If Wildcard does not announce within 3 hours (7 days before election) our ballot will be blank.

King's running?  Sh*t, I should have preferenced him.  I didn't even know.

That's okay Ford, I only need one more vote to go to the final round.

King is Everybody's Second Choice for District 5
Were another form of transferrable voting in use, King might very well be ahead in this race as he seems to be the least disliked candidate, but with zero first preferences, he isn't even registering on the tote board at the moment.

I have 3 votes, if I get 1 more all those second prefs give me an 8-6 lead over Gabu.

Low Turnout in Midwest Makes Races Difficult to Call
With only three votes cast and all for a different first preference, the Midwest race for Governor could be thrown wide open ny the next voter in any of three ways, Alcon, Dabeav, or Ilikeverin.  Dabeav holds a slight advantage as he is the only candidate to have received a second preference so far.

Dabeav also has the advantage of being the only one not yet to vote for himself, which means he is invisibly one vote ahead.

Oh yeah?  According to paragraph 7, sentence 3, word 8 of the Geneva Conventions: "the."  So, tough luck, Joe!!!
