Anybody is better than Larry.  If I had a dollar for every time he missed a prime opportunity for a followup question or went off on a tangent of irrelevant questions I'd be able to buy CNN and fire him.

As for the show, I think a Libertarian Supreme Court Justice (if Obama can find a good Libertarian judge) would add a good perspective to the discourse on the court.

Damn, Jesse's not going to need to eat breakfast tomorrow.  He's still going to be full from feasting on those hack girls weak arguments.

Fun thing about the GOP hackery with the Supreme Court is that Obama can either (a) appoint a liberal and get blasted "as obviously being a socialist" or (b) appoint a moderate/libertarian/conservative and get blasted "as obviously nervous about the election and pandering to voters."

He's in a no-win situation as usual.

Appointing a libertarian would be "pandering to voters"? When's the last time a libertarian was appointed to the Supreme Court?

Well, now that I think about it, the libertarian would most likely be painted as a liberal by Rush, Beck and Hannity because of previous decisions on social issues made and would be in the (A) category.

It would be great if a libertarian got appointed to the court, but it isn't ever going to happen unless we have a really cool president.  Libertarianism is pretty much great except for the whole legalization of pot thing (caveat: unless the welfare state is gone permanently, then Id be for it, I just dont want to subsidize some addict).

You wouldn't be.  In fact, that "addict" would likely have more money available to him as a pot legalization would probably drive the cost of the plant down considerably.
