Seems that SC, VT, and NH are unique in that Dems are the "rural" party.

(I already knew that about VT and NH, but I didn't about SC).

Also in MA, the Dems have the Boston vote and the rural vote (Western Mass, the far SE, and the Islands) and the GOP is strongest in the suburbs.

Well yes, I know that since I live here, but the GOP will still win more "space" in MA in a 50-50 election.

The REP party of CO really screwed up with all that red I see in the mountains and throughout the state, shame on them. Dan Maes should of dropped out, but got too full of himself.

Hick got over 50% of the vote.

(Norton should've run for governor . . .)

Low media penetration of all types, I'm guessing, so they wouldn't be as likely to know that Tancredo was the de facto nominee.

I wonder why Libertarians tend to do so well (relatively) in Georgia.  Obviously 2008 President was because Barr is from Georgia, but the LP has done well in other races recently over there.
