After much consideration(and realizeing you can write-in a candidate) I have decided to start a write-in campiagn for John D. Ford for Senator of District 5 ... If there are no objections from Mr.Ford. I think he'd make a most excellent candidate!

I'm sorry Lewis you're a good guy I just feel Ford is a better person for this position.
What about the argument that write-ins are unconstitutional?

John D. Ford didn't register in time to vote in these senatorial elections...... sorry.

Dang all this red tape!!!!! lol

And we Really[/i
decide if write-ins are constituional or not this aruement has been going on for weeks and there still is no answer!

Emsworth is the only one I'm aware of arguing. I, and most people I think, are in favour of allowing them. I also think that if a case iis unclear, one should be allowing rather than, well, mean...
For heaven's sake, John D. Ford can't even vote!

Mr Kennedy is also "arguing", if you haven't noticed, as are those of the opposite side.

Not allowing write-ins would be ridiculous. Restricting the right to whom to vote for is just silly. It's like those tiny countries where there is one name on the ballot, and if you don't vote for it, you get shot.
I certainly agree, but of course, as a strict constitutionalist, would oppose write-ins in the upcoming midterms on the grounds of their constitutionality.
