I can't imagine Kerry holding Michigan while losing states like Washington, New Jersey, and all of Maine.  MI would flip before any of those.

I don't like the GOP ticket and I'd vote GOP. Why isn't there a conservative VP since W is firmly in the Moderate/Establishment faction (ya know for party unity and such. SoCons won't support Rudy for his pro-choice and pro-gay marriage stances)

As a former President, its likely that in this scenario GWB would be fairly respected by pretty much everyone in the GOP.
