I hope there weren't too many Americans on board, but NATO citizens will likely make up a large part of the passenger manifesto
I don't want to start a dispute in a thread like this, but I find this type of sentiment to be pretty disgusting.
Almost 300 people have been killed. What does it matter whether they have an American or a Malaysian passport?
Make no mistake, any loss of life at this scale is a great tragedy.
However, if a large number of the passengers are American or Western European then the incident probably has a bit heavier political implications, and I don't think expressing that sentiment is inappropriate given that this is a political forum.
