Congressman Tom Tancredo makes a speech in Dallas, Texas:

"Mitt Romney is a businessman - he knows how to create jobs. He can get this nation back on the road and will make, in my opinion, a wonderful President. However, because a certain someone refuses to drop out, it seems that the Party and America is in danger of going further down the chute. Please [don't let it happen. Vote for Mitt Romney!"

Congressman Tom Tancredo holds a rally in Boise, Idaho in support of Mitt Romney:

"Mitt Romney is a healthy and health-wise American. Massachusetts is one of the healthiest states in the Union. Do I support RomneyCare? No, but at least Massachusetts-ans are healthy!

But Mike Huckabee? No! Arkansas is one of the unhealthiest states in the Union (by contrast), and Mike Huckabee at one point did weight 200+ pounds! He is a bad example for Americans and American children.

We shouldn't let some unhealthy jerk waltz into the Oval Office to ruin our progress as a nation.

Tom Tancredo says the following in a CNN interview:

"I think that Vice-President Cheney, Governor Romney, Congresswoman Schmidt, and other party regulars should tone it down when it comes to their rhetoric about Huck dropping out. I think he's a fine man and I truly do regret calling him a jerk (an apology which I hope he will accept). I don't think, however, that he should drop out. He's going to lose in a massive landslide anyway come March 4th, where Mitt will likely sweep all four states. There's no use fussing because the race will be over very, very, very soon indeed."
