Biggest reason for this trend is there are Lots of Undecided Dems in the generic poll; Obama can't even pull 70% of them against a Generic R.  Against named candidates however, most of those voters come home to Obama.

That's not exactly a good thing for Obama, as it seems a good portion of his base simply views him as the lesser of two evils against a Republican candidate.

Obama is pretty much screwed if this poll is correct.  Around 80% of the undecideds in the matchups are white.

Most undecideds are white normally, so that's not a killer bullet for him.  What's worse news is that he can't pull more than a solid 40% against anyone but Palin, as an incumbent president.
