I'm just explaining things, that's not awful. People say happy birthday on websites in comments or threads all the time. It's what people do. Stating facts is not being aweful.

Horrible bigot. Imagine a Presidential candidate today saying that about blacks or women. It'd be curtains for their campaign.

I looked up to see if he really said that. The only evidence he did was a 1987 press conference, and only one person (Robert Sherman publisher of American Atheist magazine) can be found using the quote. It was not reported to any major news sources at all during the time.

So overall it's really questionable if he ever said that. Lies always spread faster than truth.
