Don't you love VRA districts?  They always elect such outstanding representatives, don't they?

Yeah, because extremism and corruption are definitely only problems in districts drawn under the VRA. Its part of an evil plot to prevent the Governors Mansion and Legislature from gerrymandering districts to cater to their squeaky-clean, godly, and American candidates.

I didn't say they were the only corrupt/extremist congressmen, but districts that are specifically drawn to elect members of a minority tend to attract very, um, eccentric figures.

Well, certainly (you needn't look further than Cynthia McKinney). To me its still a vast step up from the one-party state that existed in the South from 1878-1960.
