Opinion of unions

Unions can be both good and bad (as others in this thread have said), but I believe them to be as a concept, an FO. In the US, at least, they're the reason why there's a minimum wage, 40 hour work weeks, work holidays, and so forth, after all.

I think the idea of them is a good thing, but in practice, just as with any group with the power to influence, it has to be kept in check appropriately.
