Mitt Romney: ''No, middle income is $200,000 to $250,000 and less.'' (ABC's ''Good Morning America,'' Sept. 14, 2012)

He's already got a very similar view to what middle income includes as Chuck Schumer. He is saying that anything under $250,000 is the middle income that he is wanting to focus on. That includes the $100,000 that Stephanopolis mentioned, but doesn't make that the cap.

An example of his awkward campaigning. Not really that relevant to governing though.

His point was true initially that there are around 47 percent of the electorate that will be with the president. Its a remark on the polarization of our politics and the fact that he can only win in a close election. As for the dependent on government part, he was speaking to donors and was campaigning to them. I don't think it will damage him that much, nor do I think he really believes that.

As for it not being his "job to worry about those people", its not referring to him ignoring them as president, but saying that he's targeting the independents in this election and that he probably won't be breaking past 53% if he's going to win. Its a electoral commentary that is accurate, its just that his wording is awkward and has some red meat added on.

Once again, bad wording. It's obvious that his point was that if he wouldn't be running for office if he had done things like that purposely.
