Top 10 in Bulgaria (for the 2007-2009 period):

Boys:

1. Georgi
2. Aleksandar
3. Martin
4. Ivan
5. Dimitar
6. Nikolay
7. Daniel
8. Kristiyan
9. Nikola
10. Viktor

Girls:

1. Viktoriya
2. Mariya
3. Gabriela
4. Alexandra
5. Nikol
6. Simona
7. Yoana
8. Gergana
9. Teodora
10. Raya

Is it just me, or do parents show, regardless of nationality, more common sense when naming boys?

Top baby names in NM were Elijah and Isabella in 2010.  Incidentally, I have a friend and relative who had children of this name last year.

Emma or Isabella seem to be the #1 in almost every state.
Isn't Isabella most commonly used by Hispanics?
