You were pretty incensed when Kerry used the F word in an interview. But you completely ignored it when Dick Cheney used it on the Senate floor, directed at a US Senator.
How is it hypocritical to distinguish between remarks made in the heat of battle/argument and remarks made during an interview?
Contrary to your view, most people DO take note of circumstances under which comments are made, and most people DO allow an individual more slack when the individual is under stress.
When we argued about Kerry using it you said you would become extremely upset by someone using that sort of language around you or your family. When I pointed out that Kerry may have believed the interviewer would edit/bleep out his explative you didn't care.
But when Cheney drops an F-bomb on the Senate floor (which is usually covered live on C-Span and could have easily been seen by one of your children) you didn't care. When pressed by reporters about it Cheney said he wasn't remorseful and he said it because "it made me feel good".
Personally I don't care if either guy uses the F-bomb. But I use this as an example of how I view you as being hypocritical. I don't expect you to see it that way, but you asked for an example.
