I have no problem with Yankee presiding over the convention, but I think it may make a little more sense for us to have a newer member, that is very active and respected and can run the convention.  Yankee is an amazing leader, but I think too often we rely on him to carry us through.

Thus I think Cincy or Zuwo would be great!  Get national exposure, run the convention, and let Yank concentrate on running the party.  My thoughts.

Yankee -- since no one else is interested, it never hurts to go with the rock upon which we built our party

I could step aside given my unpopularity?

No, I don't want any of the current candidates to leave the race, I just want to see if there is anyone who is not currently holding an RC position interested, out of fairness. No reason to have double dipping unless necessary.

While that makes sense in many ways, considering Teddy is the sole member in the Pacific now, I see no reason he can't hold two positions.  He kind of has to be the Pacific chair, so in order to allow him to hold a position, and he would be good as sec., we have to allow double-dipping.
