Surprised Reid said he wouldn't. Now this surprises me a lot. Schumer indicate? Schumer strikes me as someone of a more shady demeanor - he'll pretend like he has an open mind and what not when all along I bet he has had his mind firmly made up. But, you never know. I'm wrong about Reid and wrong about Leahy, but right about Kennedy. Incidentally...
I agree Arlen should be de-chaired.
I agree Bush should appoint a successor to O'Connor as soon as Roberts is appointed. I'll "roll the dice."
Edit: Well it's interesting that this write-up is calling him "a conservative judge."
