I think that a good choice would be John Hoeven, because he has a strong executive experience and can help a lot in Iowa that can be a decisive state. Butch Otter, in my opinion, would be a running mate that would unite Romneynites and Paulites behind Gingrich, although he would be somewhat unpopular with base due to his opposition to Patriot Act.
