I have been saying for some time that the Republican party of New York would nominate a New York Republican for the Governor's nomination.

Willaim Weld is a left-wing nut case from Taxacussets.

If Weld tries for a primary, he'll be crushed by Faso.

Willaim Weld is a left-wing nut case from Taxacussets.

Are you basing this on any facts, or just the fact that he's from MA?

Jfern summed it up pretty well.

Well, the fact is that Weld is so far out in left-field that he is conceivably farther out than the Democrat nominee (the current Attorney General).

Give it some thought, JFern likes Weld because JFern realizes that Weld is way out in left field.

Jfern summed it up pretty well.

Well, as another poster noted, the margin for Gore was greater in Massachusetts in 2004 (27.40%) than in New York (24.98%).

Weld is an oligarch who believes that inasmuch as he was born wealthy that entitles him to rule over the rest of us.

Also, please note that he is proud that he appointed the Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Court that wrote the opinion that legislated 'gay marriage.'

I'm proud that he believes in freedom and equality as well.

No he doesn't.

First, he believes that those born wealthy should rule over the rest of us (I guess that is what you call "equality.")

Second, the "freedom" he believes in is the "freeedom" of the government to run roughshod over the people.

To me, "vox populi, vox dei" in political matters.  To Weld, the wealthy have the "freedom" to order everyone else around.
