I daresay also, though do not let this spread, some women should be granted the vote in my own opinion.

Good God, man!  Have you utterly lost your senses?  What next; suffrage for under-graduates?  Or perhaps even the Negroes!
As an citizen of the Republic, I share the preceding replier's sentiment. Women would only vote the way their husband would. It would be discriminatory to bachelors, who would only get a single vote compared to married men's two.

Mr. LaFollette has my vote, but Mr. Coolidge is popular, and the Democratic Convention was a disaster. How is the UK political situation going, with MacDonald and all?

As an American, I think we should join the war, but the problem is the "isolationists" who make up a good portion of congress, are against the war. If something big happened, I.E. someone like the Germans attacking us, we would probably join the war.

My service in Europe was horrible. Many of my friends got killed. I saw many people get killed at Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. I can't believe it's over. At the Bulge I got wounded and got taken back to the States. The doctors nearly had to cut my arm off. America is great, and I appreciate it a lot more.
