Without getting into a debate about abortion... the pro-choice position would abhor this guy's work as much as anyone else and consider it a consequence of the difficulty of getting a safe and legal abortion in a regulated medical environment.

Well, yeah, I'd certainly hope they'd abhor it. I was just saying, for whatever reason.

This issue is a tragedy and should have nothing to do with whether or not abortion should be legal. This wasn't abortion. This was infanticide.

Much as I agree, you can pretty much guarantee - unfortunately - that this will lead to such debates.

Yet, had he killed the babies before they were born, he would have been inside the law.

Okay, apparently, you either have low reading comprehension or just plain don't get it. This man committed actual murder - killing viable babies. Babies that were, you know, actually, fully alive. For no excusable medical reason. Let's not make this some sorry moral guardian's abortion debate, shall we?
