In 2006 I cast my ballot for Jim Nussle (R). However, Governor Culver has not been as bad as I thought he'd be. Besides his unwaranted hike of the cigarette tax (which is really helping Missouri's economy), Culver's been a pretty good governor.
Also, no one should actually think big old Chet Culver will run for president. He has a, as President Bartlett said in the West Wing, ".22 caliber mind in a .357 Magnum world." Don't get me wrong, I've met Governor Culver many times, and he's one of the friendliest guys in the world. He even realizes his wife is the smart one of the two.
