Disagrees with me on a lot of things politically, but seems to be a smart guy, worthy of some measure of respect.

I don't think I understand it. Is it an anti-Linda McMahon ad in Connecticut?

Israel is an independent country. I don't know what the Arabic lettering means, but just from experience it's probably something anti-Israeli or pro-Palestinian. So, Horrible Signature.

It says "intifadah," which means "uprising." Hurr

And, horrible sig, because I'm not a racist.

It's amazing how you feel it was somehow OK to kill thousands of civilians in the Intifada. And so my worst suspicions about your sig are confirmed. Awful, awful sig.

I am not sure why the first comment is in there... but I agree with the sentiment of the second

I'm trying to refute the general media narrative that Romney is supported only by the very rich ("1%").

A few things:

a) it's not in your signature, but anti-Zionism is a much more racist movement than Zionism, since you're literally saying Israelis have no right to exist.

b) CJK was a troll and was not funny at all.

c) when I wish Bush was back, it's because I miss his policies. (Not that they were perfect by any means, but there would be no chance of UHC instated with Bush in office, for instance).

Liked sentence one.

Hated sentence two.

Loved sentence three.

You mean paragraph? Tongue

As for yours, mostly OK. I really don't like Goode, I do like Amash. Hasner leans positive. King leans negative. So it's a pretty 'meh' signature, on the whole.

Maybe you should consider the other R-IL avatar.

I don't understand...could you enlighten me?

EDIT: Oh, you mean the Israel avatar. Although I live in Ohio, I used to live in Illinois, and my avatar is a hold-over from those days. Much as I support the Israeli state, I haven't actually been there in the flesh. Perhaps if something like the Gaza blockade happens again I'll change briefly to show solidarity.

Um, no, it's great. But you knew I would say that.

And you should say "person," not "man."  This isn't 1912.

Sure. I'll concede you this one.

The first picture is plain stupid, the second very misleading, considering the Israeli government defended the Susyans when settlers did try to illegally take their land in 2001, that the village depends on Israeli engineering for electricity and water, and that land was taken for an archaeological dig.

The way some Americans talk about Israel is so goddamn silly.

We agree for once! Smiley

But I think we're referring to different Americans saying opposite things.

Speaking of your signature, since water is apparently so precious in Susya, shouldn't she be more careful pouring it into that bottle than letting it spill everywhere?

lol you think it's normal for Americans to talk about Israel like David Ben-Gurion was one of the founding fathers.

He was one of the Founding Fathers...of Israel. I think it's normal for Americans to say that America and Israel are allies. I wouldn't be opposed to similar discussion regarding Canada, except that there are people that oppose Israel but nobody opposes Canada.
