I think that he'd have made either a good or a decent President. I think that there would have been large job creation under his Presidency (at least under his first term.) I also think that Republicans would not be saying things like the Democrats lost China or the Democrats lost North Korea because the Republicans would now have to handle those crises instead of the Democrats. I think that moderates might have had more strength in the Republican Party today, but conservatives could have also took over the GOP as they did in RL. Eisenhower, Nixon, and Ford were very moderate/liberal, especially on economic policy, but all it took is one man in the form of Reagan to make the GOP extremely conservative.
