It may be too early to tell, but I'm wondering what people's perception is.  I haven't followed every Senate race, but I think Republicans will lose a seat in Massachussetts and in Maine.  Thus, Democrats actually make some gains in the Senate.  In the House, we have new maps in every state which likely advantage Republicans, given the current makeup of state legislatures.  Still, the Democrats could make some gains if Obama does particularly well.

Thoughts?

Looking at other threads on this board, I see that Democrats are considered likely to lose Senate seats in Nebraska and North Dakota.
