Seatown- the Introduction to Atlasia 2.0 thread has a lot of good information for newbies here.

Caucuses are a relatively new thing here, and they are subordinate to parties- you must join the party the caucus is part of in order to join the caucus.  You registered as Independent- Social Democratic caucus.  To be an official member of this caucus, you must register as JCP- Social Democratic caucus.

Elections for President coming up in February...glad to have you aboard!

I am trying to figure out who is now a member of this party. I am not sure why it has been said that members of the old caucus need to re-register? But anyway, going strictly by the new register thread, we have:

Antonio sent a PM to that effect this morning.

Why is this a problem, though?  Can't we simply have bgwah, as JCP leader, inform the RG that members of the caucus are now members of the party?

I can see why there may be a problem.  We've had people registering with the Social Democratic Union, before the JCP was dissolved and the Social Democratic Caucus still exists. Thus from the RG's standpoint, th SDC and the SDU are two seperate entities.
