This is tough.

We have the class war still.
Fox hunting divides the city from the rural vote.
To many people sponge of the government in cities.
We tolerate being taxed e,g look at petrol/gas.

If it was between Bush/ Kerry

Kerry wins the state but i`d be interested in what people think.

States like Michigan/New Hampshire/Ohio come to mind.
