How can anyone pretend that this horrible trash is a Democrat? His voting record is far to the right of the average Republican. What a freaking idiot for his book "A national party no more", and his attempts to get into a duel with Chris Matthews.
Even with Linc Chafee as a Republican, he was still in the center and only to the left of a few Democrats. No valid argument could be made for Zell Miller. He was trying to be a cancer to the Democrats in the hopes that he can bring out some conservative Democrats behind Bush. The fact he supported Saxby Chambliss over Jim Martin is just appaling.
