What bar?  Maybe I can stalk you there.  HA!  Kidding.  Don't do 21 shots if you haven't drank before.  No seriously, you could get killed and I've seen even seasoned drinkers end up in the hospital myself because of it.  Avoid Chickie's unless you like crab legs.  The alcohol tab can get quite expensive there.  Have fun buddy!

Congrats Phil! You reached ''the age''.

He hasn't responded.  He must be out getting smashed at some local bar.  I better go out and see if he's still alive or getting his stomach pumped. Tongue

Thanks, guys. I just got in. I went out to dinner downtown after a political event. I had a Peroni (had to let the first one be an Italian beer) and Guinness. I thought I'd like the latter (since it's been described as being more "pudding like") but I found both to be way too bitter. I don't think I'm ever going to acquire a real taste for beer. I'll do some more sampling though.

It's just that- acquired.  Give it time.  I never acquired the taste for Scotch whiskey and I find Jaegermeister disgusting.  Peroni's a good choice!  I forget what my first one was and I don't even know how old for that matter.

Guinness tastes like pure ass to 3/4s of the human population, the other 1/4 think it's ambrosia.  Nobody understands why.  (it has nothing to do with the ethnicity of the drinker either)

I guess I'm in the 1/4.
