Local pol I want to see rise: Brendan Boyle.  I know I've talked him up before, but he and his brother have went through hell and back to get elected to a PA House Seat with virtually NO party support or money.  The dedication they shown is beyond comprehension for someone roughly my age.  Despite the fact he's anti-choice, he brings a lot of fresh ideas to the table and I agree with him on about 90% of issues.

Local pol I'd like to see fall flat on his face:  John Perzel, Speaker of the PA House.  Severely overrated scumbag that had to gerrymander his district to save his ass in 2004 because in 2000 an unknown shopkeeper in a wheelchair named Mark Chilutti came within 100 votes of toppling him.  If the gerrymander wasn't bad enough he used taxpayer funds via "public service announcements" to promote his sorry ass on cable.  I must also note he had about $2 million to his 2004 opponent Tim Kearney's $30,000.  If that wasn't bad enough he used his goons to take down Kearney signs and sent out lit showing Kearney with Stalin, Castro, and Lenin.  Reason he keeps getting elected - He brings home the bacon!

I would actually see that as a downgrade (remember that O'Brien in Judiciary Chair) but I'd vote for him if there was an O'Brien-O'Neill primary. (O'Brien would crush O'Neill, by the way.)

I think Denny has other plans...

If going for Stack or Schwartz is what you're thinking then dream on!
