Surprised that PdL still trails by only five to six points.

It makes sense to me that PdL would get a slight "dead cat bounce" now that they are no longer led by a rapist of child prostitutes like Berlusconi.

Who will actually lead the PdL in the next election? I assume that Berlusconi, the rapist of child prostitutes is out of the picture - or is he?

It should be a challenge for the PdL since that party was created as nothing but a personality cult around Silvio "serial child rapist" Berlusconi.

How does a personality cult survive the demise of its central personality?...esp. if any of the putative successor appear cut from the cloth of those grim, grey, faceless Christian Democratic leaders of the past - (though Giulio Andreotti apparently murdered a few people as well so i guess he wasn't as "dull" as he looked)
