In other news, in that article linked above, Cuomo emplied pro-life people don't belong in New York State. Interesting.

I will always applaud Cuomo's God given talent to troll the True Leftists. At this point he has to be to NY Dems what TX House Speaker Joe Straus was to the teabaggers in TX.

Will Nixon continue on when she loses the Dem Primary? And if not I wonder who the WFP will endorse.

The WFP voted 91-8 in favor of endorsing Nixon. Imagine if Zephyr got that kind of support four years ago.

To be fair I don't think Cuomo was actively giving the WFP as big a middle finger then as he is right now.

It seems odd to me that the Lt. Governor and Governor are voted on seperately in primaries yet together on the general ballot

I wonder what the odds are he'll try and use the unions to create another new party to support him and siphon votes away from the WFP. New York Labor Party?

Something seems off about a rich white person lecturing about this.

Kind of ironic people could read calling for marijuana legalization as anti-white male, since white men are the demographic group most supportive of it.

That tweet wasn't just calling for legalization, if it was no one would be saying anything.

She very easily could have said current cannabis policy is wrong and hurts minority communities disproportionately, and left it at that. But instead came off like a tumblr post calling people to arms against people whose opinions are shifting towards her own, all it was missing was #latecapitalism at the end. She could go after police unions, big pharma, or any of the major road blocks to legalization, she instead tries desperately to score easy points with the far left by attacking "rich white men" who support legalization.

Is there any actual evidence that Cuomo is considering dropping out? This seems more like the speculative fantasybof true leftists.

I'm sorry, I just can't get over that Miranda from Sex in the City with zero political experience wants to be Governor of a state with 20 million people. It doesn't matter what she says. It will be good entertainment to see her go down in flames, though.

It will be better entertainment if she tries to make November a legit 3 way race and Cuomo wins with less than 40%.

On a side note, since when are you a Republican?

The only thing a bagel ever needs is strawberry cream cheese. New York deserves better.

Lies!
Well maybe they don't deserve better, but strawberry cream cheese is still the pinnacle of toppings.

The important thing here that I think everyone is missing is this, we can finally change the thread title now.

The WFP has given Cuomo a deadline tomorrow to accept their ballot line. Any chance at all he doesn't take it?e

Lame.

Unless the WFP is actually scared they'd come in with under 50,000 votes (I don't see how they couldn't get at least that many with how many Nixon/Teachout supporters there are) they should have stuck to their principles and not reward Cuomo for breaking them.
