If David Duke got elected to either house of Congress, how do Mitch McConnell and/or Paul Ryan cope with having a Klansman in office?
Robert Byrd was in congress for 57 years and it didn't bother any democrat leaders
besides the fact that the 1950ies are not the 2010ers, robert byrd ran as far from his past as he could.

This whole post is ridiculous. It's whole purpose is to tie klansmembers to republicans.
The only Open klansman to serve in the federal legislature is Robert Byrd, and he did so for 57 years, so if we are to talk about the ridiculous klansman in office thing we should mention the only one.
Byrd recognized he was wrong and changed, Duke still continues to be a racist. Just because the Democrats have been historically more racist, that's no defense of the GOP becoming a home it.
