There is already federal law on gay marriage in Atlasia.  No referendum can overturn that federal law.

Really? I never heard of this federal law. It must of been past during my vacation... out of curiousity, how did it pass? However, I do think it should be the right of the Region to make a decision of its own in this case. We may have a constitutional battle on our hands... we shall see.

Migrendel sponsored the Marriage Equity Act, which builds on the Civil Unions Act by codifying gay marriage instead of just civil unions.

There is now gay marriage in Atlasia.
