Does ANYONE on this message board actually support giving driver's licenses to illegal aliens?
As long as they are paying taxes they should be entitled to any government service.
By definition, no illegal immigrant pays taxes because as soon as they fill out a tax form, the government figures out they are here illegally and goes to the address on the form to deport them.
The only exception is those who have a fake social security number, in which case they go to jail for identity fraud, and are then deported.

They shouldn't be "illegal". Anyone who wants to come to this country and work should be able to without having to go through the near-impossible immigration system. To deny good hard-working people that right is un-American.
And to have an open border without restrictions is impractical.
I'm not sure you've thought your position out fully. In fact, I'm quite sure you haven't.
