Dear Atlasia,

I f--ked up.

I made a mistake in running for election back in August when I knew that I planned to leave the forum. I abused the trust of all those who voted for me. I let down all of the Atlasians who joined the CID in hope of transforming party politics for the better. I betrayed my colleagues who worked with me when I served as a Northeast Assemblyman and chairman of my party.

It may not be sufficient, but the most that I can do is to say this: I apologize.

I will not ask for forgiveness, however. I intend to earn it. Since I self-destructed my own political career, I've got to build it up again, winning back piece by piece the reputation and the trust that I enjoyed. I'm ready to get back to work again, making myself useful in any way I can to the new administration of Snowguy and Bacon King, to my region, to my Governor and former colleague in the Assembly, Snowstalker, and to all of the citizens of this nation.

As for my party situation, I'm not sure what I will do. Unless there remains some interest, the CID appears dead and it seems a mistake to revive it. But I am wary of the fact that we have two major parties, and two major parties only now. As much as I have a profound respect for the members of the JCP and RPP, I wouldn't want one party or the other to dominate. As always, I'm open to suggestions.

Let's put the mistakes of the past aside. I'm back, and you ain't gonna get rid of me again! Wink

Yours,

homely

Hans can't serve any longer? Dear me. I'd be thrilled to be RG though, I love administrative work and statistics.

As long as you stick around, I'd support you for the position Wink

No, no, I've learned my lesson. Wink

Thanks, Teddy. I hope that if I'm confirmed we can have a good deal of cooperation between SoFE and RG.

Better than Hans? That's a tall order, friend. But I'll do my best.
