I think NM is a really hideous state.  And Alabama.  Oh, I know.  Alaska is the ugliest state, and looks even more awful in blue!  (No offense AKSaber).

As to NM - what's hideous about NM? A bit to rectangular, I'll admit, but it still beats Colorado and stuff hands down.

If I can, I'm changing my vote from AK to RI.  Rhode Island's shape is the ugliest state by far.
