I don’t know what 4D chess the billionaire alt-conservatives bankrolling and advising him are playing here, but I don’t get it. Failure after failure with RDS and RFK Jr.

My only theory is that they’re trying to make their actual favored candidate — Trump — look palatable, in comparison, for conspiratorial Rs and Ds. Lol

It’s no surprise that the spookiest campaign of the season may tap a person knee deep in tech and state secrets after allegedly boinking two of the wealthiest men in the world

The reason why the activist class are among the worst people alive and so pervasive among the left is honestly because a lot of them aren’t that left wing to begin with. Humility, empathy, and understanding are some of the rarest traits in the human race and it is just as rare on the left. Inherently this is why the Bolsheviks didn’t sweep the race in the 1917 election, and why nonsense trying to rehabilitate the Narodniks and popular socialists are always wrong. So many people live in a bubble.

The rehash of the past has haunted the Left through a new 80s movement, Democrats are haunted by the specter of the Kennedy clan, and republicans have wholly not just swallowed the worst of the 80s but also the worst the democrats had to offer in the 80s.

Most activist groups fall into two camps: (1) liberal arts trust fund babies without any understanding of the world, since they’re the only folks who have the time and resources to focus on fixing perceived injustices or (2) astroturfed/infiltrated groups designed to promote inflammatory rhetoric/make left-wing positions look bad

There’s also a strain of (3) narcissists/people attracted to activism as a way of self-promotion, an inversion of (1) typically found among lower/middle class folks who see it as a way to eventually grift, become an influencer and make a living, an extension of the DEI gravy train.

The NYT pseudo hit piece on RFK running mate Shanahan is pretty funny. I like how they outright can’t get anyone on the record to say that she’s nuts so they just give us context clues — like how they suggest that she threatens to harm herself every time after she gets caught cheating with a new rich dude. Lol. What a mental case. She and RFK sound like two completely unstable and unserious people.
