Let us suppose:

Biden declined to run this year, and Kamala either decided not to run or lost the primaries early as she did in 2020

1) Who would be the presumptive nominee given the current Democratic Party?

2) Of all Democrats who could have a realistic shot of being nominated by the DNC in 2024, which would actually have a stronger polling edge against Trump than Biden does?
