This Teabagger movement hasn't helped the Republican Party.  It has cornered many Republican Congressmen into deep right field, where they can make no compromises with Democrats.  How do you soften the blows of Obama's policies when you can't even negotiate a better deal?  The Teabaggers do not care.  As I've seen on this board, they believe Obama is willing to negotiate, and the liberals think Obama should stop negotiating.   The Republicans received a few of the things they wanted in an effort to appease moderate Democrats, but they could have got some substantial policies to limit regulations, cut taxes, and decrease deficit spending. Obama would have probably traded it for one moderate Republican vote
