"The Northeast condemns the callous decision of the Pacific to close its border with the Southeast. To show solidarity with the Southeast, all goods entering or exiting the Northeast from the Pacific are illegal, and shall be confiscated if found. This act will be in effect until the Pacific either re-opens its borders with the Southeast, or accepts the "Suck it Pacific Act 2010."

This is extremely retarded.

This is not to engage in a trade war, but rather to push the Pacific towards opening it's borders. Citizens of both the SE and Pacific are harmed by this, and if this crisis is resolved or if the Pacific opens its borders, I will drop the legislation.

I would like for this to be debated once it actually reaches the Assembly, as opposed to the Introduced Legislation thread.

You don't think the Pacific is right? I mean the Southeast is dumping violent criminals in another region, not to mention their escorting them with an army to keep Pacific Atlasians at bay.

Victimless Crimes Act

1. All penalties for current crimes that do not have a clear victim and perpetrator are to be abolished.

2. All Northeast citizens currently in prison and serving sentences for victimless crimes are to be released immediatly.

Me and Dallasfan are working on some changes to the bill, so please do not be afraid that this will be the final result.

I am going to withdraw the Victimless Crimes Act from the table for the moment, not only because I think the issue needs to be reworked, but also because I feel other more important issues need to be dealth with.
